마음에 드는 책이 있어 오늘 읽어볼까 해요
전 주로 에세이 쪽으로 손이 많이 가요
여러분들은 어떤 장르 좋아하세요?
바삭바삭한 책 향기 맡으면 온몸에 힘이 사르르 빠져요
책에도 향이 있다는 걸 몰랐었어요
어느 날 추천해 주고 싶은 예쁜 책이 있어
소중한 친구에게 선물했더니
책을 펼쳐 종이 향부터 맡는 친구의 모습에 놀랐었어요
그 친구는 책마다 향이 다르다고 향을 맡으면 그 책의 내용을
잃지 않아도 머릿속에 어떤 느낌이 피어오른다고 말했었어요
그 말을 들은 순간을 잊을 수가 없어요:)
그때 이후로 저도 소소한 습관이 생겼네요
책이 제 손에 들어오면 좌르르 펼쳐 코를 파묻는 거요
크게 숨을 들이쉬면
책 향기와 제가 어우러져서
소용돌이치던 마음이 잔잔해져요
책 읽을 준비가 되었으면 아주 빠져들어서 읽게 돼요

I can’t forget the moment I heard that:)
I’ve had a little habit since then.
When the book comes into my hands, I open it up and bury my nose.

The smell of the book, the smell of me,
It’s calming down my heart.
