Ceramics in motion – Book

Since doing pottery at school I always fancied making a ceramic hinge based on the fact it is hard to get to pieces of clay to bond together. Therefore making two pieces moveable without bonding should be easy. Thus “Ceramics in motion” became my thing.

In 2004 I joined an intermediate pottery class at South Hill Park Arts Centre (Bracknell UK) led by Andy Glass.

I first made a box with a hinged lid, followed by a pot with the same type of lid. I also tried my hand at making a ceramic book. Then I moved onto the windmill with three axis of movements and finally the watermill.
