Hello!
So recently Bob told me that he really wanted some hair since the weather has been very cold lately, so I bought him this bright blue wig which I thought would probably be his hair colour 😉 But then he complained about the condition of the wig and asked me for a haircut and told me that while I was there, I may as well give him a scalp massage and a blow dry etc. this video was the result 🙂 He’s SO demanding btw.
Actually, you guys have been asking me to put a wig on him and do some hair related triggers since I got him, but I never thought the sounds were that great when I tested them. However, with the help of the Rode mics I think it sounds a lot better, so I hope you’ll enjoy some of these hair and scalp massage triggers 🙂 If you do like this kind of thing I will try to invest in a better quality wig, one that isn’t so scratchy and plastic sounding and one that doesn’t tangle so easy lol. 00:00 – 01:06 – Preview for most of the sounds
01:07 – 04:17 – Hair play, stroking the wig, hair sounds etc.
04:18 – 08:00 – Brushing Bob’s hair with a wooden/bamboo hair brush (this part would have been longer, but the brush kept getting caught in the tangles – there is some smoother brushing at the end on my own hair)
08:01 – 10:23 – Spray bottles. Water shaking sounds and then spritzing water all over Bob’s hair
10:24 – 11:48 – Snip snip. 2 pairs of scissors snipping around your head
11:49 – 23:21 – Cutting his hair, with lots of combing sounds (and tangles–sorry Bob)
23:22 – 29:35 – Hair mousse. Fizzing all around your head and applying fizzy mousse to Bob’s hair ready for styling
29:36 – 33:30 – Blow drying his hair. Gentle dryer sounds around your head and delicately blowing in your ears with the warm air
33:31 – 35:46 – Hair serum. Shaking sounds, applying it to my hands and then putting it in his hair
35:47 – 57:10 – Scalp massage time. Lots of scalp scratching and massaging, with hair stroking and running my fingers over his hairy ears
57:11 – 1:04:13 – Scalp massage with a plastic massage tool which I bought around 4 years ago on the recommendation of Gentle Whispering (I had NO idea I’d be using it in my own ASMR video years later!) 😛
1:04:14 – End – Brushing my own hair with various brushes for some softer sounds for sleep 🙂 This was also supposed to be longer, but I kept bumping the mics ?
